Year 6 pupils from Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Academy in Billingham recently attended the YMT Leavers Festival at the Emmaus Youth Village, enjoying a meaningful and uplifting day.
A Day of Music, Reflection and Celebration
The festival provided pupils with the opportunity to take part in a range of activities, including music, song and dance, all centred around the theme of “Behold.”
Throughout the day, children were encouraged to reflect on the message of the theme - seeing themselves as important to God and recognising that He has a plan for each of them.
A Special Time of Prayer
As part of the experience, pupils also participated in Eucharistic Adoration during a Celebration of the Word. This offered a calm and reflective moment for children to deepen their faith and think about their journey ahead.
A Meaningful Leavers Experience
The YMT Leavers Festival was a fantastic way for Year 6 pupils to come together, celebrate their time at school and look forward to the future with confidence and faith.
It was a memorable and inspiring day for all involved.
