A Fantastic Sporting Experience
It was an exciting day for pupils at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Academy in Billingham, as selected children from Years 4 and 5 took part in an action-packed Tri‑Golf competition. For many of the pupils, this was their very first taste of golf - but their determination, enthusiasm, and willingness to give it their all made the day unforgettable.
Showing Resilience and Determination
Throughout the competition, the children demonstrated incredible resilience and teamwork. They challenged themselves with each activity, growing more confident with every swing and putt. Even those new to the sport showed impressive progress in a short space of time, proving that trying something new can lead to fantastic results.
Competing With Pride
Facing off against twelve other schools, our pupils remained focused, motivated, and supportive of one another. Their impeccable behaviour and positive attitude set a brilliant example of sportsmanship.
Their efforts paid off as they secured an amazing second place overall! This achievement reflects not only their sporting skill but their commitment to representing Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Academy in Billingham with pride.
Well Done, Everyone!
We are incredibly proud of each and every pupil who took part. Their confidence soared, and they returned to school with big smiles and a real sense of achievement. A wonderful effort - well done, team!
